Henry Ford would be frightened

On our way to The Henry Ford Museum.  Traffic as a result of a rollover, we just saw on google maps that the freeway was closed.  Do we exit or wait it out?????

We wisely left the freeway and had a nice tour of Detroit neighborhoods. People here drive on the shoulder like it is a lane; we saw a car get on the freeway and then back up on the ramp he came down.  It was pretty scarey😳 God is our refuge.

The Henry Ford was fascinating, the tour was so interesting...(sorry we couldn’t take pics) watching the assembly line work, efficiently and effortlessly.  We watched the F/150’s in production.

Taking a bus to the factory. The village had a museum, movie theatre and school.

The Rouge river runs to the factory, everything is made here.  The roof is covered with vegetation that lasts almost 40 years.  Huge skylights letting in lots of natural light to the factory.

On to Saline Michigan.  Pastor Mark Smith of Trinity Lutheran said we could stay in the parking lot.  We were just a little early for church...about 12 hours!
